eeerrkk..it’s raining!

Who would have thought? 6.56am and I’m…………………………………

                                                    AWAKE!!!!

Actually, I was already wide awake at 5.05 am but I was hoping to go back to sleep till my alarm rings me. Damn the brightness. Nevermind about that… it’s actually raining! After days and days of draught news.

Well well.. anime’s on tv on an early Saturday morning (kids are up so early to catch cartoons on Saturday mornings?) Flashback: My cousin was up at 6am to watch Pinnochio with my late grandmother..15 years ago!

ANYWAY, see see Cassie! I’m up at 6am! I beat you!! Bwahahaha. Then again, it’s only once in a blue blue moon. Blame the cramps. Gotta salute this girl. She’s up at 7-8am everyday, even on holidays! Well, at least no more mid night calls to bug you off your sleep.

Dunno lah, just feel so restless. I wish I could sleep longer. But my heart beat was racing at about 5am. Felt so uneasy. Is this a stress-wake-up-call? Figures. The last time I woke up (without an alarm clock) so early was during SPM days. Waking up worrying about studying. Like how I woke up worrying about assignments awhile ago. Tsk tsk.

I need help.

I’ll be home in 14 days! Woo HOO!! I’m dreaming of my nasi lemak…hmmmmmm… Can’t wait to see how fat Fifa has gotten. Geez. Wish my family could stop feeding him so much. I really hope he lives up till his ripe old age of.. dog’s age (whenever that is).

Okie doke. Rain has stopped. I can go grocery shopping now (24 hours!). Taaaz.

The minds of educators

Thursday, October 19th, 2006

I really wonder how my lecturer’s minds work sometimes. A student can come up with the most extravagant piece of work, agreed my his/her peers but when it comes to the lecturer’s comments…. it goes downhill. Oh, then, one lecturer goes all the way with what the student does, encouraging and supporting, and the other goes, "its all wrong!". So what does the student do? The cons of having more than 1 lecturer in a class. Different minds works differently, that I’ll agree. But don’t they understand that it’s a big deal to the student what they think?

Bottom line, lecturers can DEFINITELY drive a student to insanity.

I bet many uni students can relate to this. Is it just interior/architecture lecturers that are guilty? I heard many stories from my interior/architecture mates. Until today, I never thought of it as a big deal but having to experience it now? GRUESOME. I feel you.

A bad day..and a super hectic weekend coming my way. Not a good time to piss me off. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. Heheezz…

(blank) to be a MALAYSIAN!

Tuesday, October 10th, 2006

Fill up whatever you wanna fill up in that blank because I think being a Malaysian has its pros and cons. It could be Proud to be a Malaysian, Hate to be a Malaysian, Rojak to be a Malaysian, and er.. whatever swear words you have. Pushed aside all the nonsense, I’m definitely going with AUTHENTIC to be a MALAYSIAN!

On this almost summer day when it’s windy, sunny and dry outside. I prefer to stay home and avoid the sun. Me no quite likey the sunny. I thought about what is so authentic about being a Malaysian. Like how I want my tea to be in a mamak shop.

Ice tea - Teh O Ais
Ice tea with milk - Teh Ais
Ice tea with milk and ginger - Teh Halia (being ginger)
Any ice tea with less sugar - add "Kurang Manis"

and of course, my all time favourite;
Ice tea with lime - Teh O Ais Limau (being lime)

..and the added colouring of the tea just makes it look like a pretty orangy drink. Haha. Glorious tea! It always taste lovely. As long as you don’t see them making it, not to mention the amount of sugar that goes into one cup, and how bare hands are used to squeeze the lime into the tea.. Hahaa!

Pretty simple to be home made, but well, it’ll just never taste the same as the one in a tall plastic cup with a straw by the road side on an unbalanced folded table in the Mamak Stall.

Oh, how I miss my Teh O Ais Limau..

By request from Miss Yang

Another day, another blog.

Just because it was by request. Furthermore, Telekom Malaysia has been causing problems to the phone lines in certain areas in Klang Valley which is pretty darn frustrating. Haven’t been talking to Ming for some time.

Anyway, the weather became so hot today which really just dampens my mood. A definition of a perfect weather by Malaysians ; Cloudy or rainy, just right to sleep. Not sunny, not hot! GRRR! Not in the best of mood tonight. Another 5 weeks, I’m flying home…woo hoo! Till then, it’ll be my terror weeks. I shall not whine further about how much work I have. My lips is dry, my throat is dry and even after huge gulps of water, I still feel dehydrated. I don’t even know why I bother typing this blog. Oh yea, by request. You see how much I love you Miss Yang. I don’t know what else to type. I’m so glad I dont have any blogspot.com to maintain. It would probably be growing with cobwebs by now. hahahaz.

Ok, full stop.
