Urination..its a sensation!

Thursday, November 24th, 2005

Alright..was just trying to rhyme the title. Don’t go all EEUU and ERRGH on me now. I am no weirdo..REALLY! Was just talking about the urine that has been raining in my room. YES! Joanna’s BELIEVE IT OR NOT, my room has been raining urine. Now you can go EEUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got you interested to read what’s up next? Oh yeah, great story to tell. Since the day I heard squeeking noises from my ceiling, and the constant ’sha-sha-sha’, I’ve been quite skeptical about what’s "up there". Pretty freaky eh? Freaky enough for me! Ever since my house was broken into by thieves, I have been a light sleeper. I wake up in the middle night by the sounds of anything outside. Old tins dropping, stones hitting the roof, and etc. The worst one was my imagination of someone trying to open my door (my door is always locked when I sleep since that terrifying day). But I’m all prepared for it, always trying to reach my big KAYU even when I’m half dreaming-half awake and always prepared to dial the number for the Selangor police on my speed dial. But anywayz, that’s not the main headline for today..just a flash back to why I am a light sleeper. Okay..raining urine??? Now if I was just someone surfing by blogs and happen to come into this one, I’d be like.."WHOAH!" Back to the squeeking and ’sha-sha’s’. I suspected it was a squirrels in between my roof and ceiling making babies up there since a squirrel was spotted jumping from roof to roof by my dear FIFA (for all of you who doesn’t know FIFA..it’s my dog!). I was wondering whether squirrels squeek. Ok..I have to admit, I haven’t been watching much of National Geographic these days. Anywayz, to think of squirrels getting into my roof to the top of my ceiling? Impossible. Just fixed the roof 2 years back. Then, just 2 days ago, I heard that ’sha-sha’ sound again and thought, ah, screw u bloody squirrel or rats. At that very moment, there were rapid trickling sounds of liquid dropping from the ceiling. Holly cow! My roof is leaking again? (leaked before, but that was real rain water!) I had the whole night to investigate this mysterious "rain" in my room. However, I still thought that the contruction workers did not do a good job the last time. But again! Just this morning, another patch of trickling liquid from the ceiling! It was yellow! (EEEUUUU!!) It did not have a bad stench, but there is some kind of smell. Honestly, it does smell like kuih lapis (traditional malay ‘kueh’). No kidding. Finally, I decided it was the rats thats been raining my room. Dad fixed up a rat trap up there with dried squids. Oh yeah! We will see tomorrow whether there’s been a good catch.

Thats all for now. Hear more next time, about the mysterious "rain" in Joanna’s room……..BWAHAHA….

A day to honour BANANAs!!

Monday, November 21st, 2005

It’s bananas! B-A-N-A-N-A-S! It’s bananas! B-A-N-A-N-A-S! Oh Gwen, on the spot!Yes, my friends, today, is the day, we honour BANANAs! And yeah, the fruit.

Its bananas man! The fruit that goes well with almost anything! From banana splits, banana toast in peanut butter (that’s my recipe, yeah huh!!), banana in chocolate dip and finally, the favourite local cuisine, ROTI BANANA! (roti pisang in simplified terms). Damn you Hassans! When you gonna serve me by roti banana?! But since Ming and I have been getting special discounts and complimentary meals from you, I’ll just give it a rest. Though I think banana smoothies are yucky but well, bananas give that energy for a long lasting day. I’m sure my dear Ah Kong will be so Images_1proud of me to honour this day to bananas. Unfortunately, even in my household itself, banana’s are thrown out every end of the week to the big jungle of lalang’s next door (Yes,I do live beside and infront of big patches of lalangs that is now so full of water that tadpoles are making it their habitat). Exceptional for little Natalie of course, who for her age of 4 is taking 2 bananas a day. Two huge bananas! For her teeny weeny stomach. I’m sure she would have no trouble when it comes to her bowels..tee hee!
Talking about banana’s..Did you know that banana trees are resting places of pontianaks? Yeah the great Pontianak Harum Sundal Malam (translation in English: The Spirit of the Nice Smelling Night?) Hahaha.. Do tell me the exact translation. I’m just guessing. But no worries about the pontianak, only if you’re pregnant, now that’s a different story!!

Ah, I know you guys are bored out of your wits. Oh, BANANAS IN PYJAMAS! bananas..in pyjamas! Get it? Oh nevermind! So salute to the banana! Tomorrow we honour KAYA. Oooh, kaya spread! Kidding laaa…

I_am_no_hypocrite!

Monday, November 21st, 2005

"Oh my gawd!Jo has a blog??" Honestly, I’d be NO WAY-ing by now. Tee hee! Laugh all you want. I know I’ve mentioned before that blogs are dumb (Hypocrite? Read and I’ll tell you why). A lot of blogs I’ve seen through more or less explains about their daily ordeal. "Today…boring laa.." "Study study!Stress stress!" like duh! What do you think? It’s more like an online diary already. Aren’t blogs suppose to be a place where thoughts can be typed down and more critical thinking is put into words from the beautiful minds of people out there? Hmm… Or maybe people just prefer to make it an online diary. Try using paper and pen..and a real diary!!It’s really more meaningful if it was on a ‘hard copy’!Why? Afraid your younger brother would steal your diary and let out your deepest secrets to your friends?? Then again, you don’t type secrets into your blogs because that will just be plain dumb. Maybe I just came to realise that I might need a blog to keep my pals up-to-date once I’m in Aussie Land. Oh yeah! I’ll call my expedition, "My Great Vacation". Mr kangaroo!!I finally get to see you! Kangaroo’s..hm..to think that they’re born with a pouch..hm..(Haven’t seen a kangaroo before, don’t mind me being silly!) And I was talking to a friend one day about cows. To think of it, I’ve never heard a real cow MOO before. Only seen in cartoons and whatnot. Do cows really moo? Or was is just mass media all along? Smart ones out there, do lend me a thought to my hollow mind. I can be dumb at times..or am I just playing dumb? Questions questions..

p/s: I don’t know what attracted you to my blog, but whatever it is, no offence. Sometimes it’s just plain fiction. :P
